Tourism for Help was founded in 2004. This non-profit association promotes responsible tourism that contributes to economic growth in developing regions. Its actions include training, projects, promotion of responsible tourism, food sovereignty and environmental protection. Based in Geneva, Tourism for Help has enabled more than 650 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, including 75% of young women, to benefit from free training in the hotel and restaurant industry or agroecology. Tourism for Help is today: • A network of more than 500 professional actors in our sectors • A network in the South, for the South • 5 active partnerships with local associations in Cambodia, Mali and Senegal • 50 employees local • 20 volunteers
